A Harmonious World Emerging: Our Daily Meditations
Kate Waring – coordinator of our daily online meditations – shares how these meditations are creating a unified field of love, light, and connection all around the world.
What began as a small, intimate gathering of Findhorn Foundation team members has grown into a global circle of shared intention and connection. The Findhorn Foundation’s morning meditations, now held online every Monday to Friday on Zoom and broadcast live on Facebook on Fridays, are creating a powerful resonance that stretches across continents.
These meditations started modestly, with just a handful of people who work at the Foundation. When we opened the practice to everyone in November 2024, the response was immediate and heartening. Week by week, more people joined, and the circle continues to expand. Today, this shared space of reflection and intention welcomes participants from around the UK and far beyond.
People are joining from places as close as Cornwall, Yorkshire, and Dorset, and as far away as Portugal, South Africa, Japan, Argentina, and the USA. Across Europe, participants from Germany, Finland, Italy, and Slovenia add their energy to the growing field of connection. The reach of the meditations is a beautiful reminder of our shared humanity and the collective desire for unity and peace. The map below represents our ‘Network of Light’ with all the places people have been joining our daily meditations from.
The purpose of these meditations is simple but deeply meaningful. Together, we hold a vision of a harmonious world – a world where humanity embodies the Sacred, honours one another, and co-creates wisely and lovingly with all life. Each session is a chance to align ourselves with this vision and contribute to the resonance needed to bring it into being.
Held by facilitators based in Findhorn, as well as in other parts of the UK and Portugal, these meditations serve as both a personal practice and a collective act of transformation. They create a space where individuals can connect with themselves, each other, and the wider world, cultivating the conditions for humanity to come together as one.
Since November, the growth in participation has been a source of great inspiration. The numbers continue to rise, and the increasing diversity of locations represented by participants highlights the universal appeal of the meditations. Friday’s live broadcasts on Facebook have also helped extend the invitation to a global audience, welcoming those who may not yet have experienced the practice.
The meditations are deeply aligned with the overarching vision and purpose of the Findhorn Foundation. At its heart, the Foundation exists to nurture a radically transformed world where humanity embodies the Sacred in daily life. These meditations offer a tangible way to activate that vision, not only as individuals but as a collective.
Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning – or are joining for the first time – your presence matters. Each person contributes their unique energy to the shared field, strengthening the resonance and helping to amplify the transformative potential of this practice.
