In this session, community members and Iona lovers Katherine Collis and David Spangler take us on a sacred pilgrimage during the time of the Solar Equinox, which this year occurs on the 20th of March. While we will celebrate the Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere, our friends in the southern hemisphere will celebrate the Autumn Equinox. No matter where you are in the world and which season you are entering, the Equinox is the time of perfect balance of day and night all around the planet, when the sun rises exactly in the east and sets exactly in the west. A magical time, which opens a portal for us to step over the unseen threshold into alignment with the soul path of Gaia, of Mother Earth …
Coming home to the sunroom on the Isle of Iona.
As we approach this special time of the year, Katherine and David will connect us to the Spirit of the holy Isle of Iona on the west coast of Scotland, a place of ancient mysteries, where the veils between our world and the otherworld are thin, where the presence of the unseen realms can be felt, and where many people experience a deep sense of ‘homecoming’. If you can feel the call of the Isle of Iona, we will be happy to welcome you to our beautiful retreat house Traigh Bhan.
In this session Katherine and David invite you to reflect on the big questions in life: ”What is emerging and unfolding in your life at this time? What is calling you? What is shifting in your ways of thinking, viewing, and understanding your place in the world? How do you meet this historical moment of so much change and so much uncertainty? How can you step into a deeper grounding into the Spirit of our changing, turbulent world?”

About David Spangler
David Spangler lived in the Findhorn Foundation Community in the early 1970s and was a key figure in establishing the Foundation's first educational offerings. He describes himself as a practical mystic and considers Traigh Bhan to be 'the heart chakra of the Findhorn Foundation'.
